We construct green living rooms on roofs

And nature appreciates it. On the roof of an underground KBC car park we created two ponds. We planted seven large trees. And surrounded them with varied garden plants. With the green roof technology, we designed a terrace open to the public. But even in our wildest imaginings, we couldn’t have predicted what happened next. Birds moved into our garden. They built their nests. They selected it as their place to live, thus confirming how perfectly capable we are of creating natural microclimate with good, inviting energy.

Whether outside, or inside, in a living room you need to feel at home. The KBC patio has become a natural home for our soaring fellow creatures. As well as a place valued and enjoyed by the employees and the guests. Naturally, we feel proud of it and delighted.
